The purpose of the SIG is to better understand how research is used to improve education policy and practice, and to foster improvement of dissemination and use of research findings.

To accomplish this mission, the SIG supports a variety of activities, including affiliation with AERA and engagement in research sessions at the annual meeting; sponsorship of ResearchBriefs, an online database of research articles; publication of Research USE, a peer-reviewed journal; and by recognizing contributions of our colleagues working in research use with the annual Research to Practice award.

Upcoming Bylaws Changes will be discussed at the Annual Meeting.
